LA DENR-Caddo Parish

Our team is currently working on this project that comes with it's own unique set of challenges not normally associated with standard plugging projects. The well was drilled in 1939 and is situated in the backyard of a home in a highly residential neighborhood. Previous reports determined this well was P&A'ed in the 1940s; however, the landowner had complained of gas odors leaking from around the well. The first challenge of the project was to cut down the tree and remove the stump in order to gain direct access to the well. After removing the original cap, we found cement located at the top of the well head. Our plug and abandon crews rigged up and have drilled out the top cement plug. During drilling, we began to get abnormal downhole materials in our returns. We have seen 4"x4" wood pieces along with pieces of rubber, tire like material being washed out. After several days of drilling and washing out debris, we have begun cementing and are looking forward to the finalization of this project.

Environmental Resources, LLC Mira, Louisiana
This project was contracted through Environmental Resources, LLC for work to be performed for the Environmental Protections Agency. We plugged and abandoned 4 oil well with depths down to 11,500' along with the removal of all oilfield salvage and tank batteries. Although the August heat was a factor, we are proud of the fact that everyone, from our project managers to our rig operators, worked tirelessly to get this project completed on time and underbudget with no injuries.
Collinston, Louisiana
Recently we were able to assist a landowner to repair 2 wells that had been damaged during the land clearing process. Both the surface and the production casing were bent 5 to 10 feet below ground level.
Our crews dug down and identified the necessary procedures to restore these wells back to ground level. New surface and production casing were installed along with a bull plug to secure the well.
Kentucky-KASTOW Program
In 2022, we decided to take our expertise in P&A services along with our experience in site restoration to other states. Kentucky is one of the states we have an outstanding resume with when it comes to completing projects while overcoming difficult circumstance such as land terrain. We were able to plug a total of 75 oil and gas wells during our time there. We plan on having a long relationship with the Kentucky Division of Oil and Gas. Here you will see some of our team with the oil wells and mountains together.
Mississippi State Oil & Gas Board
In 2022, when deciding to expand our operations to other states, our neighboring state Mississippi is one that stood out. With our management team and our boots on the ground, we were able to plug and abandon 12 oil wells with locations restored and reseeded, removed and disposed 17 leaking oil tank batteries, restored 6 oilfield site gathering stations, and disposed 2 heater treaters that contained TENORM. We continue to have ongoing work in different parts of Mississippi and are exited to feature more as the work progresses.
